Let us help you keep your home neat, clean and tidy. You may like to continue doing some of the cleaning yourself and allocate specific chores to us. We can do as much or as little as you would like, whatever you prefer, we’re here to help.

Some help at home with the cleaning helped out a smile on Linda’s face
Linda is 75 and lives alone after her husband passed away. Her family live too far away to help so she had been doing all the home cleaning and maintenance herself. Recent injuries were making it harder to use the vacuum cleaner, reaching higher shelves had become difficult, and she found bending and stretching while cleaning caused pain and discomfort. She contacted St Louis for some help at home, specifically with cleaning in mind.
She was very particular about how she wanted her home cleaned, sheets washed and changed, and she needed some help hanging out and bringing in the washing. She wanted her cleaning done early and on the same day every week. She also requested a cleaner who was closer to her age and could stay for a cup of tea afterwards as this made her feel more comfortable having someone in the house to help. Knowing that she was able to include social time with cleaning made her feel at ease, less rushed and she looked forward to the day.
Our care worker was the perfect match. She visits weekly and does the cleaning exactly how Linda likes it, and always makes sure there is time to enjoy a chat over a cup of tea after everything is done. Both women enjoy the time together. Most importantly, Linda feels more independent, safe and comfortable in her own home knowing she can organise her cleaning and keep her house maintained just the way she likes it.
