November 2017, Nursing Home Social Program
Our bus trips have been plentiful and I hope the venues have been of interest to many of you. If there is somewhere you would like to visit for the first time or revisit (as it's always been a favourite) then please give me this feedback. These bus trips are meant to be all about you. YES,YOU!
Last month we visited the zoo with Frank and Suzie and a great day was had by all. We also had a wonderful afternoon tea at a local bakery which was lovely and quiet so everyone could engage in the conversations. The lunchtime concert at Elder Hall was music to our ears but I must remember to get there earlier. We all had our running shoes on in the end.
I'm really looking forward to the next couple of months' bus trips. Have a look through the calendar and if something slightly catches your eye or makes you smile then please contact me on 8332 0950 and ask me to add you to our list. There are many health benefits of getting out and about so come and see if it works for you.
Finally, we have puzzles waiting to be borrowed from our Marryatville office. Please ask your carers to bring you one at their next visit. I take this opportunity to wish all of our bus trippers and potential bus trippers a safe and joyous Christmas season. I'm excited for where our bus will take us in 2018.
